Our History

 

Abeve Company Limited is a fashion retail business located in Lusaka, Zambia.

 

The company was first registered on the 11th of October 1991 under a legal name of Abeve Company Limited and was successfully issued with a certificate of Incorporation on the same date. Mr. Mulusew Tebeje and Mrs. Abinet Zeleke Tebeje formed the company. Abeve opened its first store at Carousel Shopping Centre in 1991. This store was expanded to double its original size and therefore scope of business. A second store was opened in Northmead in 1996.

In 1999, the Carousel outlet was relocated to Chester House on Cairo road. This was a strategic move in anticipation of Abeve moving to its current location at Manda Hill Centre in October 1999. This relocation to Manda Hill had a significant positive impact on the business’ bottom line. The Northmead outlet was closed and incorporated into the Manda Hill Outlet.

 

Since its inception, Abeve has worked in close collaboration with individuals, companies, and the government to build a better world to live in.

The company offers different fashion concepts for men and women encompassing everything from high fashion to modern basics and all these are supplemented by accessories. Abeve does not have its own factories but has multiple suppliers who produce clothing collections for almost everyone, at an affordable price.
